Machine trust. Proven continuously.

Continuous Proof Trust capabilities for participating systems communicating across connected environments.

Designed for distributed and operational deployments in which machine relationships need ongoing confidence, not just a point-in-time credential check.

BEYOND POINT-IN-TIME AUTHENTICATION

How kin Core changes the trust model

Stolen but valid login credentials can be presented from a device the organization never intended to trust. Where access relies on those credentials alone, authentication may succeed without proving the machine behind the connection. To join a kin-protected relationship, a device must provide fresh, relationship-bound proof of its provisioned provenance. Stolen login credentials alone do not satisfy that machine proof, which continues throughout communication.

Traditional model

Authenticate → Connect → Inherit trust

A successful authentication can become the basis for trust that persists beyond the original check.

kin Core

Prove → Join → Keep proving

Participating systems provide fresh, relationship-bound evidence that they remain the expected participants.

Connect threat detection to a change in trust

An approved device can still become compromised. Through integration, kin Core can incorporate antivirus, antimalware and other endpoint security alerts into ongoing trust determination.

When an integrated tool flags potential compromise, that signal can trigger an operator-defined response to the device’s kin-protected communications. This connects existing threat detection with action on machine relationships, helping contain potential compromise.

HOW KIN CORE WORKS

Continuous Proof Trust in practice

kin Core establishes the provenance of participating machines, protects their communications and continually renews confidence in their relationship.

Prove the participants

During provisioning, device provenance is established. Ongoing proof draws on device and software attributes, shared relationship history and behaviour. Once provisioned, approved peers can continue proving provenance to one another without a continuous connection to a central authentication hub.

Protect every packet

Each protected packet contains markers designed to detect cloning and tampering.

Protect the connection

kin uses post-quantum ML-KEM-1024 for key establishment during provisioning. Ongoing communications between approved, provisioned machines are protected using AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption.

Maintain confidence

Trust can be renewed, degraded, suspended, recovered or terminated as conditions change. The operator defines how the system responds to a change in trust.

THE ARCHITECTURAL DIFFERENCE

No reusable authentication credential to steal

kin Core authenticates participating machines without storing, exchanging or managing reusable authentication artifacts. This removes a common target for credential theft and replay from the authentication process.

COMPLEMENTARY SECURITY BY DESIGN

Designed to strengthen the security you already have

kin Core can operate alongside existing security infrastructure, adding continuous machine trust without requiring organizations to abandon their current investments.

Works with existing security

kin Core complements firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, NAC, PKI and secure remote access by adding ongoing proof of participating machine relationships.

Built for connected machines

Designed for industrial and OT systems, robotics, autonomous equipment, manufacturing, critical infrastructure, edge deployments and OEM platforms.

PROVE THE PARTICIPANTS

Know that the machine on the other end of the connection remains exactly what you expect. Keep proving it.
